Speed Stars on PC
“Speed Stars PC” covers three different routes. Only one of them is the Steam app. The other two are a browser session or an Android package inside an emulator. They are separate builds and use different version numbers. The providers do not document whether saves transfer between them.

Steam
The Steam app id is 1482700. It released on 2020-12-16. The game listing still names Windows 7, an Intel i3-class CPU, 2 GB of RAM, and 1 GB of disk. Steam also warns that its client requires Windows 10 or later; the old game minimum is not a supported Steam-client installation target. The listed modes are 60m, 100m, 200m, and 400m, with ghosts, up to seven AI runners, and 1v1. The price checked on the US storefront on 2026-10-23 was US$2.99; regional prices vary.
Steam news ends on 2022-05-29 with “Graphics update!”. The store text does not mention emotes, hurdles, or relay. A June 2026 community video shows emotes on the mobile game, but the sources checked here do not establish whether the Steam build has them.
Browser on a PC
Poki runs a WebGL 100m in the browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS. Left and right both run and balance the athlete. It is free. It is not the Steam game with a different coat of paint.
Emulator
GameLoop lists the Android package on PC and labels it version 2.47. The official phone stores were on 2.55 when checked. An emulator can run the phone game, including whatever that older package contains, but it is behind the current mobile release.
For a native PC release, use the Steam listing. Poki is the browser alternative for a 100m race. A GitHub Pages copy that dates the game to 2024 conflicts with the Steam release date of 16 December 2020 and is not a Windows installer.

FAQ
Does Speed Stars on PC have emotes?
The Steam store page does not list emotes, and the last Steam news post is 29 May 2022. A June 2026 community video shows them on mobile. The available sources do not confirm emotes on Steam.
Is there a free PC download?
Steam is paid. A free PC option that is actually published is the Poki browser game, whose listing highlights the 100m. Emulator listings run the Android package and are not a Steam download.
