Hurdles, relay, and medley

Flat races and hurdle races are different events. Relay is not “replay.” A lot of pages mix those words. This page keeps them apart and names the source for each event.

Hurdles

The App Store Full Version text names 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles next to the 200m, 400m, and 60m. That is an official sentence. Steam’s store text does not list hurdles, and Steam news stopped in May 2022, so do not assume the PC build has them. Guide sites say you press down (down arrow) at the barrier. That input is not in the App Store paragraph. Treat the down-arrow as a community control note.

Relay

Relay is a baton event players film on the phone game. GloOnline’s video “NEW RELAY EVENT IN SPEED STARS??” is a community upload, not a Miniclip trailer. speed-stars.io lists relay among its modes. The App Store paragraph quoted above does not say “relay.” So: players are running relays on mobile builds; the store blurb we have does not itemize that mode.

Medley

Medley is a mixed-distance relay. Awkward RaFa posted “Speed Stars Medley Relay - 1:07.93 (default)” in February 2026. A Reddit community-records post dated 3 August 2026 lists a medley at 1:10.10 and a 4x1 at 36.85, and it asks for screenshot proof. Those are leaderboard claims inside a community, not a store record.

Practice the flat start separately before adding a hurdle input. Relay and medley use different event formats; the linked clips demonstrate community play rather than a developer tutorial.

Poki’s page highlights the 100m and does not confirm hurdles or relay. Check the event menu in the build you are using. Mobile event sources are described on mobile.

FAQ

How do I jump hurdles in Speed Stars?

The Full Version on mobile includes 110m and 400m hurdles, according to the App Store. Guide sites say a down input clears the barrier. Steam’s page does not list a hurdles mode.

What is medley in Speed Stars?

Players use medley for a mixed relay. Times such as 1:07.93 come from a YouTube title, and 1:10.10 from a Reddit record post. Neither is an official world record.
