How to run faster in Speed Stars

The stores do not publish a cadence chart. They say timing and rhythm decide the race. The notes below are community claims, not a patch note or an official drill. Single-source figures are labeled as such.

What players repeat

Stamina versus raw speed

The same Game Solver thread says 200m favors stamina more than the 100m does. That matches the shape of a real 200: you still have to be there in the second hundred. It does not give an official stamina formula. Spend points on the builds page’s table, and keep this page for the hands.

One repeatable practice method is to count steps through the drive phase, then review the replay for rhythm and posture. A fluctuating speed readout does not identify whether cadence or stats caused the result; change one variable at a time.

False starts throw the rep away. Wait for the cue, then the first two steps are the drive, not top speed. Lean is what players call the forward posture in that phase. No store page assigns it a degree value, so this guide does not invent one.

World-record clips are on world records. They are community times. Copying a click pattern from a title card will not print that time on your board.

FAQ

How do I get more stamina in Speed Stars?

On mobile, stamina is one of the stats the Full Version lets you set on a custom racer. The stores do not publish the point costs. Community build notes are collected on the builds page.

Why does tapping faster make me slower?

Players report that an overly fast tap shortens the stride and drops speed. The store text only says rhythm matters. Treat the “slow down a little” advice as community practice, not a developer quote.
